I get asked how much money my New Media Ventures makes me on a regular basis. These days I don’t go into specifics about it - all I will say is that I’m not getting rich, however, I make enough to continue to pay for my Internet Connections and some other miscellaneous bills (and the occasional toy or two for myself!). Private Ad Sales/Sponsorships
This includes ad sales of the 125 x 125 ads here at GraiteSites Services as well as a couple of private ad deals that I did with sponsors from BluBrry.com and other Affiliate Services (including Amazon.com, Commission Junction and others). This area has jumped up as a result of the new design here and on my other sites and blogs.
Selling eBooks and Software
A big part of my New Media income, I buy and sell eBooks and software with Master Resell Rights and Private Label Rights. Loosely translated, I can buy an eBook or a piece of software for a few dollars and am able to sell it for just about any amount (what the market will bear) and keep 100% of the profits. I have setup a web site called The Personal Publisher that I continue to add more and more eBooks and software and I sell these on my other sites and blogs too!
Well, that sorta wraps it up. Like I said before, I’m not getting rich, but I am making enough to keep my head above water and continue to enjoy this medium.
